Organic green tea from Colombia.
Colombia is considered by many to be the land of coffee and tea growing was used, if at all, for the production of cheap, dust quality fannings for the US iced tea market. . As coffee and tea have similar climate and soil requirements, we are delighted that Colombia's ideal conditions are now being used for the production of high-quality loose leaf teas, which are also certified organic! Cultivated at an altitude of 1,800 to 2,000 m and harvested exclusively by hand "two leaves and a bud", our Green Leafy has a half-open, twisted leaf with a few tips.
Tasting
The infusion shows a light cup, the soft-sweet base tones are complemented by delicate nutty notes."
On the photos, the infusion was made in Gaïwan of 20cl for a few grams of leaves. Infuse at 60°, between 3 and 4 minutes (it's a lot in Gaïwan), but it's worth it, because the infusion is very fragrant, the tea is sweet, round incredibly sweet and delicious. The oilseed notes can be perceived on the nose, while the mouth is fruity and enveloping. A green tea from Colombia at the height of its legendary terroir.
