This is an absolute rarity offered to us here by Shizuoka Prefecture! Shizu 7132, also known as Machiko, is the name of the cultivar used. This tea only became famous some time after its discovery, when a farmer noticed that it had an intense natural cherry blossom aroma. For this reason, we have deliberately avoided completely sifting the leaf stems, because these contain the majority of the aromatic substances responsible for the cherry blossom taste. A neon yellow cup with a full and soft body and an inimitable floral taste.
